| ILEC/PTT The Mobile WiMAX standard now gives tier-one ILECs and PTTs the ability to deploy the most modern, all-IP broadband wireless infrastructures. Using SOMA solutions, they can do this in a fraction of the time at a fraction of the cost associated with wireline deployments. Because SOMA solutions support key networking standards along with the Mobile WiMAX standard, network integration is transparent. Existing IMS network applications such as hosted IP-PBX can be integrated via the SoftAir™ Wireless Multimedia Application System. As a result, service providers only need to build, maintain and leverage one seamless core network. SOMA solutions include high-coverage base stations that support the most subscribers per square kilometer at the lowest ongoing operational cost. Subscribers can self-install their own indoor gateways, further reducing costs for service providers.
